Hey everyone! Happy to see you, make yourselves at home! I’m super excited to welcome you to my free intensive course that’s called Expand your English. The topic of this course is How memory works & study hacks. In the following seven days we are going to watch some fascinating popular science videos, collect and activate plenty of amazing vocabulary, share our ideas and practice English in the most efficient way. So, let’s get it started! Some ground rules for you: 1. This course and this group are in English, so you are expected to speak English only. I realize some of you might be hesitant to do so due to the fear of making mistakes or not sounding proficient enough. Please try to disregard that fear! We’re all here to learn, and you're only safe from mistakes if you don't do anything. I’m here to help you and correct you if needed. You can also ask me any questions on grammar/vocabulary usage in the videos. 2. Make sure to hit the notifications button in order not to miss any posts with videos or assignments. Try to do them ASAP and don’t put them off unless you absolutely have to. Doing all the tasks in a timely manner will bring you the most smashing results. 3. Please be respectful to each other. If you have contrasting opinions, discuss them politely and without getting personal. If you can’t find common ground, just agree to disagree. Let’s make this a safe welcoming space, where everyone feels accepted. 4. I encourage you to participate as much possible. Watch the videos, do the tasks, write or record your answers and of course, come to the speaking club and share your thoughts and insights. This course is an amazing opportunity to boost your English, so don’t blow it😉
